A sign of the apocalypse?

1800s Chocolate

Holy crap! How is it possible that a chocolate bar is lucky to make it through 24 hours in one piece in my house, yet there is actually a bar for sale on ebay that dates from the late 1800s??? Check this out. Seriously, how is this possible? I feel like it just started raining frogs. Bizarre.

Wow… that’s amazing. It’s my favorite baking chocolate too.

Paula, same here. And yeah, somehow tacking the 100 years onto chocolate actually makes it unappetizing…who knew?

Jane, My aim is to amuse :)

Jenn, I’ve yet to find a favorite baking chocolate. Although in the cocoa department I just made the most AMAZING cupcakes with King Arthur Flour Company cocoa. I’m weird. I love chocolate, but I could pass on chocolate cake. These cupcakes though…they DON’T NEED FROSTING! How is that possible?? Sheesh, maybe the apocalypse is at hand…hehe
